Illinois telehealth
Online individual, couples, and family psychotherapy for Illinois clients.
Dr. Bryant provides individual, couples, and family psychotherapy for adolescents and adults, along with parent support. His work is psychodynamic and relational at the foundation, with evidence-based approaches integrated for trauma, addiction, mood and anxiety concerns, emotional regulation, relationships, and complex co-occurring patterns.
New clients may request a free 10–15 minute consultation. Stonebridge reviews the request and confirms the consultation time.

Dr. Bryant has particular experience in three areas while maintaining a broader outpatient practice.
Substance use, relapse and recovery patterns, ambivalence, process addictions, shame, coping cycles, and dual-diagnosis concerns.
Threat responses, dissociation, safety, emotional regulation, body-based distress, self-worth, and protective patterns.
Depression, panic, overthinking, irritability, shutdown, mood instability, avoidance, and difficulty feeling steady.
Relationship patterns, couples and family concerns, identity and self-worth, grief, life transitions, neurodevelopmental concerns, family stress, and parent support.
Psychodynamic and relational at the foundation, with evidence-based and skills-focused methods integrated according to the client’s concerns, goals, readiness, and needs of the moment.
Good therapy needs a steady frame: enough structure to feel safe, and enough room to be fully human.
Explores recurring emotional and relationship patterns, defenses, unmet needs, identity, self-worth, and the ways earlier experiences continue to shape present life. The therapeutic relationship itself may help patterns become clearer and more workable.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy may be used to examine thoughts, behaviors, avoidance, and practical patterns. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy supports values-based action and psychological flexibility. Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills may support emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness.
Motivational interviewing supports honest exploration of ambivalence, readiness, substance use, recovery, coping patterns, and change without relying on confrontation or pressure.
These approaches connect symptoms with safety, protective responses, relationships, development, and family patterns. Parent or family work may draw on attachment and systems concepts when clinically appropriate.
These approaches are not applied as a fixed formula. Dr. Bryant develops an individualized formulation and draws from different methods when they support the purpose of therapy.
